1. Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing Verdantfall, or using its services, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to consent to online services under the laws where you live. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must approve your use.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure, and notify Verdantfall through the website feedback channel if you believe your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Account names must not impersonate others or violate these Terms.
4. Beta Service
Verdantfall is a preseason beta. Features, balance, availability, progression, items, and virtual currency may change. Bugs, downtime, data corrections, rollbacks, and progress resets may occur when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, test, or improve the service.
5. Acceptable Conduct
Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, scam, spam, or impersonate others. Do not share unlawful or harmful content, evade moderation, manipulate the economy, automate gameplay, exploit bugs, interfere with servers, reverse engineer protected service components, or gain unauthorized access. Report serious exploits privately rather than publishing instructions that enable abuse.
6. Chat and User Content
You retain rights you have in content you submit. You grant Verdantfall a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, transmit, moderate, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. Public chat and profile content may be visible to other players. Private messages may be processed for delivery, safety, abuse reports, and enforcement.
7. Virtual Items
Characters, items, currencies, rewards, ranks, and progression are limited licenses within the game, have no guaranteed monetary value, and are not owned as physical property. They may not be sold or transferred outside features expressly provided by Verdantfall.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
Verdantfall may investigate reports and issue warnings, mutes, restrictions, suspensions, bans, item corrections, or progress adjustments when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect players, correct exploits, or secure the service. You may submit an appeal or question through the website feedback channel.
9. Intellectual Property
Verdantfall software, artwork, text, branding, and other service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws except where identified as third-party material. These Terms do not grant permission to reuse Verdantfall branding or assets outside ordinary gameplay.
10. Availability and Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as available" basis during beta. To the extent permitted by law, Verdantfall does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free gameplay, permanent preservation of progression, or compatibility with every device. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Verdantfall is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from beta downtime, lost progression, third-party conduct, or unauthorized account access. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes and Termination
These Terms may be updated as the service changes or law requires. Material changes will be announced through the website or game. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. You may stop using the service at any time. Verdantfall may discontinue the beta or terminate access for material or repeated violations.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria and applicable European Union law, without removing mandatory consumer protections available where you live. Courts and dispute procedures will be determined under applicable law.
